Dr. Kossow has been in private practice since 1994, based in Salina, Kansas. Dr. Kossow is board certified in Electrodiagnostic Medicine and in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. His clinical and electrodiagnostic evaluations will assist in the diagnosis and management of peripheral nervous system, musculoskeletal, and neuromuscular disorders involving neck pain, back pain, extremity pain, weakness, numbness or tingling.

Electrodiagnostic Medicine is the medical subspecialty that applies neurophysiologic techniques, including nerve conduction studies and needle electromyography, to diagnose, evaluate and treat patients with impairments of the neurologic, neuromuscular and/or muscular systems.

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment time to check in.

Bring your insurance cards and any billing information necessary to submit the charges for your visit. Without this information, we will be unable to file a claim for you and you will be billed for self-pay.

Wear a loose shirt or blouse so your upper arms can be exposed if testing neck, arms, or hands.

Wear loose pants or shorts so your upper legs can be exposed if testing back, legs, or feet.

Keep your hands and feet warm to ensure an accurate electrodiagnostic study.

Don't put any lotion or oil on your skin prior to your appointment.

The nerve / muscle study will typically take 15 - 20 Minutes.
